Carmelitta M Apperson

Carmelitta M. Apperson, 92, of McConnelsville, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020 at her residence.  She was born on Aug. 3, 1928 in Zanesville to the late Marshall and Florence Williams Cline.  She was part owner with her husband of Apperson Pluming Heating and Cooling in McConnelsville.  She was a member of the Pisgah United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Beach Grove Grange and TOPPS of McConnelsville.  She is survived by her 2 sons, Jerry and Dick Apperson of McConnelsville, 2 daughters, Connie Welsh and Judy Rutter of McConnelsville, several grand, great grand and great great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lester Lyle Apperson, a daughter, Trudy Massey, a brother, Ronald Cline and a sister, Beatty Stewart, grandson, Shane McGrew.  Services will be held on Friday, Sept. 25, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the Pisgah Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family on Thursday, Sept. 24 from 6-8 P.M.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
