Dale Lee Eppley

Dale L. Eppley, 83, of Pataskala, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 18, 2023, at home after a battle with cancer.  Dale was born in Roseville, Ohio on March 9, 1939.  He was a barber for 40 years, drove trucks for 18 years, then retired after working 11 years for the City of Columbus.  Dale was known as a hard worker and a very generous man.  He was always busy working in his yard or his garage.  He was an avid reader.  Kathy and he enjoyed traveling and listening to Blue Grass music.  Dale was preceded in death by his mother, Luzella Harvey;  father, Arthur Eppley; sister, Barbara Kertu; brother, Ernest Shepard; son, Dale Eppley, and granddaughter Brittany Eppley.  He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Kathy Eppley.  Daughter, Kim (Jeff) Lehman; grandchildren Geoffrey (Lisa), Dustin (Olivia), and Jake.  He is also survived by three nieces: Saundra (Kenton) Brown, Beverly (Howie) Hill and Brenda (Tom) Franks and many other family and friends.  Memorial Service will be held March 11, 2023, at 11:00 at the Pataskala Church of Christ, 9132 Blacks Road, Pataskala.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice, 777 W. State St, Columbus, OH 43222.
