Donna J. Gilliland

Donna J. Gilliland, 90, of McConnelsville, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville.  She was born on Aug. 9, 1930 in Chesterhill, Ohio to the late Graydon and Mary Farnsworth Woodyard.  She was the owner operator for over 35 years of H&R Block in McConnelsville, Beverly and Caldwell.  She was a member of the McConnelsville Church of Nazarene.  She is survived by 3 sons, Stan Gilliland of Memphis, Tn, Keith Gilliland of Massillon and Bruce Gilliland of South Haven, Miss, a daughter, Diane Maynard of McConnelsville, a brother, Larry Woodyard of Chesterhill, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joel Gilliland, 2 brothers, Gail and Ronald Woodyard and a sister, Dorothy McPherson.  Services will be held on Friday, Nov. 6, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the McConnelsville Church of Nazarene with burial following in the Dale Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family 1 hour prior to the services.  Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling the arrangements.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
