Douglas K. Kaltenbach

Douglas K. Kaltenbach, 62, of Chesterhill passed away on Tues, Jan. 17, 2023 at his residence.  He was born on June 4, 1961 to the late Ruth Kaltenbach and was raised in Chillicothe until he moved to Morgan County in 1973.  He is survived by his wife, Marsha Mayle Kaltenbach of McConnelsville, a son, Shawn (Ashley) Kaltenbach of Chesterhill, a daughter, Keshia (Terry) Humphrey of Portersville, 4 brothers, Chris Kaltenbach of Winter Haven Fl, Gary Lee Mayle of Marietta, Joey Mayle of Columbus and Dewayne Mayle of Marietta, 2 sisters, Teresa Miller of Bellview and Tina Kaltenbach of Chillicothe and 6 Grandchildren, Benjamin, Trinity, William, Raelynn, Riley and Reagan.  He is preceded in death by his mother.  Doug was well liked in the Chesterhill community and greatly respected for his fair and honest work he did on people’s cars.  He was known to help anyone at any time.  He loved his children and grandchildren and love spending time on the front porch talking to anyone that came by.  He will be greatly missed by his family and the community.  Services will be held on Tues, Jan. 24, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with burial following in the Chesterhill Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family from 10-12 P.M. on the day of the services.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
