F. Michael Totman, 75, of Zanesville, formerly of McConnelsville, passed away on Thurs, Dec. 24, 2020 at the Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. He was born on Sept. 4, 1945 in Port Saint Joe, Florida to the Late Forrest and Patricia Nedley Totman. He was the Court Administrator for the Morgan County Common Pleas Court and also the Bailiff. He also owned and operated Totman’s Lamp House Restaurant in Malta. He was a member of the Ohio Chief Probation Officers Ass., Family and Children First Board, Southeastern Regional Jail Board (Founding Member), Perry Multi County Juvenile Facility Board, a Chief Parole Officer and a State Deputy Sheriff. A Past member of the County Care Team, Chesterhill Vol. Fire Dept., Malta Business Ass., Morgan County Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis and Buckeye State Sheriffs Ass. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Jane Eing Totman of the home, 1 son, Phil (Carmen) Totman of Titusville, Fl, 2 daughters, Teresa (Jerry) Turner of Barlow and Mindy (Jordon) Lill of Pleasant View, Tn, a sister, Jean Wagoner of Zanesville, 5 grandchildren, Justin (Leah) White, Amanda White, Nikki Totman, Michelle Totman and Bailey Totman and 4 great grandchildren, Holly Totman, Ezra White, Amerys Mansfield and Eastun White. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Jack Totman, a sister Sharon Quimby and a great grandson, Forrest Dean Totman. Services will be held on Tues, Dec. 29, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the Chesterhill Cemetery.
