Francis J Penotte

Francis J. Penotte Jr, 70, of McConnelsville, passed away on Fri, April 8, 2022 at his residence.  He was born on Aug. 11, 1951 in Akron, Ohio to the late Francis J. Penotte Sr. and Nellie Balzer Penotte. He worked as a custodian for the M&M Grade School, Homer Union Grade School and the Morgan Junior High School.  He retired from Sanese Services in Worthington where he worked as a Vending Attendant.  He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion Post #24 in McConnelsville and the VFW Post #4713 in Malta.  He is survived by his wife, Margaret Brown Penotte of the home, a son, Jason (Jen) Bellfy of Newark, 3 daughters, Julie (Bobby) Arick of McConnelsville, Tammy (Tommy) Mathews of Palm Harbor, Fl and Christina Penotte of McConnelsville, 4 granddaughters, Kara, Ashley, Kaylie and Amanda and a great granddaughter, Lillianne.  He is preceded in death by his Parents.  A caring cremation is taking place at his wishes.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
