Harold Wendell Gage

Harold Wendell Gage, 82, of Chesterhill, passed away on Weds, May 17, 2023 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville.  He was born on Feb. 7, 1941 in Bartlett, Ohio to the late Harold and Dorothy Fleming Gage.  He worked as a truck driver in the oil fields and retired from Robinson Construction in Bartlett.  He was a past member of the Chesterhill Vol. Fire Dept.  He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carol Bowman Gage, a son, Roger (Susan Sampson) Gage of Chesterhill, grandchildren, Chandler and Chris, step granddaughter, Samantha, great grandchild, Carson and step-grandchildren, Wheylan, Willow, Dixie and Jodi.  He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Norma Bell and Barbara Jean Gage.  A grave side service will be held on Sat. May 20, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. at the Chesterhill Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family from 10-11:45 on the day of the services.  Stone-Matheney funeral Home in Chesterhill is handling the arrangements.
