Janet R. Kincaid

Janet Ruth Kincaid 78 of Stockport passed away at Selby hospital November 14, 2022.  Born April 18, 1944 in Stockport to Glen and Grace Scott Cain.  Janet was a bus driver for Morgan local schools for 25 years. After retiring, she worked for the state of Ohio as a daycare provider in her home. She was also co-owner of J&J trucking of Stockport. Janet was a member of the Rebekka lodge for many years. She loved farming and traveling. Janet was a member of Stockport Church of Christ. Survived by her husband of 60 years James Kincaid, married November 10, 1962. Three children, Christine (Tim) King of Fleming. Brenda Armstrong of Stockport. Brian (Andrea) Kincaid of Chesterhill. Adopted children -Jason, Mack, Mandy and Alisha. 20 Grandchildren. 21 Great-grandchildren. One brother, Ronald Cain of Stockport and his children Justin and Bob. Several nieces and nephews.  Janet is proceeded in death by her son, Daniel Kincaid, her parents, Glen and Grace Cain, and brother Robert Cain.  Funeral services will be held on Fri, Nov. 18, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the Lightner Ridge Cemetery near Stockport.  Friends may call on the family of Thurs, Nov. 17 from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
