Obituary
Linda B. Drake, 76, of Malta, passed away Fri. July 21, 2023 at Highland Oaks in McConnelsville. She was born Apr. 18, 1947 to the late Donald and Mary Baker. She worked for Morgan Local School District as an aide at Homer-Union, then Malta, and retired from Central Office. She was also a volunteer at West Elementary. She enjoyed baking, especially her cookie plates at Christmas. She is survived by her husband, Don E. Drake, a son, Jeffrey (Angela) Drake of Malta, a daughter, Jennifer (Donald) Murphy of Malta, grandchildren, Dalton and Peyton Drake, Kayla, Erica and Allan Murphy, along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law Harold “Buddy” Drake and sister-in-law Kathleen Ann Hurst. A caring cremation will take place at her request and no services will be held.
