Margaret "Jeanne" Davis

MONROE MI: Margaret Regina Davis (Jeanne) age 73, passed away on October 21, 2021 at Wellsprings Lutheran Home after a long illness. Jeanne was born on December 24, 1948 in Pomeroy, Ohio to Glenn and Lorraine (Oiler) Davis. She has two siblings David (Julie) Davis and Krista Allberry. Jeanne was a free spirit and wore many hats in her lifetime. Residing in places like California, Texas, Indiana and Michigan, however she always referred to Stockport, Ohio as home. She worked many years for Equifax Services, before opening Maggie's Antiques in Harbor Beach. She would go on to work for Lutheran Social Services as a caregiver in adult care homes. Jeanne's compassionate and caring nature would be the reason she would excel in this line of work. She received numerous awards for her dedication to her clients. It's at this job that she would meet one of her favorite people Michael Dempsey. Even years after retirement she would make sure to spend time with him. Jeanne was very social and enjoyed being with friends especially her bestie Nichole. She was an avid reader, historian,
geneologist, artist, and musician. But by far Jeanne's favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family. She doted on her grandchildren and great-grandbabies who all knew her as Gee. Jeanne is survived by her daughter Dawn Pinkham (Steven) of Tecumseh, Michigan and her son Robert Fuchs of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, bonus grandkids, and life long friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son Anthony Charles. Funeral Services will take place at Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill, Ohio on October 29, 2021. Calling hours begin at 10:00 a.m. service at 11:00 a.m.
