Martha Jane Bumgardner, 77, of McConnelsville, died on Sat. June 28, 2014 at her residence. She was born on April 5, 1937 in Windsor Township near Stockport to the late Harold F. and Retta G, McDaniel Blackmer. She retired from the United Telephone Company in McConnelsville where she worked as the head secretary for many years. She is survived by one brother, David Blackmer Sn. Of Sun City Florida, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Frank Bumgardner. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 from 10-11 A.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with a graveside service following at the McConnelsville Cemetery.
