Matthew T. Bellville

Matthew T. Bellville, 53, of McConnelsville, passed away on Thurs, May 11, 2023 at his residence.  He was born on March 28, 1970 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Robert and Mary Ann Aber Bellville. He was a case manager and RN at the Marietta Memorial Hospital.  Matt took much pride in his work and enjoyed his job and fellow employees.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.  He was a family man that put his family first and loved his children and spending time with them.  He is survived by a son Braden Bellville and his fiancé Hannah Duff of Marietta, a daughter, Olivia (Devon) Patterson of Marietta, 3 brothers, Danny Bellville of McConnelsville, Bobby Bellville of Jasper, Al and Sam Bellville of Malta and several nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents.  A visitation will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 5-7 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville followed by a caring cremation.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
