Michael J. F. Tigner, 69, of Chesterhill, passed away on Sun. July 11, 2021 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville. He was born on Feb. 4, 1952 in Obetz, Ohio to the late Douglas and Mary Houseman Tigner. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired from Columbia Gas and Chesapeake Energy. He was a Deputy for the Morgan County Sherriff’s Office and the City of Amesville. He is survived by his son Jeremy (Erin) Tigner of McConnelsville, 2 brothers, Jerald Tigner of Dayton and Rick Tigner of Stockport, 2 grandsons, Brady and Brennen and 3 step granddaughters, Emerson, Ayda and Enzley. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Marsha Smith Tigner, a brother, David Tigner and a sister, Cheryl Kelley. Services will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with burial following in the Chesterhill Cemetery.
