Phillip C. Bowman

Phillip C. Bowman, 75 of Beaver, Ohio, formerly of Chesterhill, passed away on Tues, Dec. 8, 2020 at the Adena Medical Center in Chillicothe.  He was born on Jan. 15, 1945 in Columbus to the late Elbert and Mary Harris Bowman.  He served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and was a retired construction worker.  He attended the Tabor Ridge Church of Christ.  He is survived by his daughter, Felecia Singer of Cincinnati, 6 brothers, Rubin Bowman of Columbus, Joel Bowman of Mansfield, Michael Bowman of Mansfield, Timothy Bowman of Kansas, Andrew Bowman of Columbus and Matthew Bowman of Dayton, 3 sisters, Rebecca Melton of Mansfield, Tamera Jackson of Columbus and Phoebe Wilson of Columbus.  He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, David and Nathan Bowman and a sister, Deborah Fulton.  Services will be held on Tues, Dec. 15, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with burial following in the Tabor Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
