Ronald Ray Stowers, 75, of Stockport, passed away on Sun. Jan. 3, 2021 at his residence. He was born on Dec. 5, 1945 in Garrettsbend, WVa. to the late Earl Lee and Lyda Macel McCallister Stowers. He worked at the Daimler-Chrysler Toledo Machining Plant in Perrysburg, Oh. and retired after 31 years. He enjoyed working, cutting wood, rebuilding car/truck/tractor engines, turkey hunting and being in the woods. He is survived by his wife Peggy Hale Stowers of the home, whom he married on Aug. 30, 1969, a son, Mark A. Stowers of Middletown, a daughter, Patty L. Wheeler of Sidney, a brother, Donald (Vicky) Stowers of Pocahontas, Ark., a sister, Gladys J. Cross of Danville and 5 grandchildren, Melanie and Macel Stowers, Kylee, Samantha and William Wheeler. He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Tommy and Jerome Stowers. A visitation will take place on Sat. Jan. 9, 2021 from 11-12 Noon at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with a funeral following at 12:00 P.M.
