Sharon Lee Allen

SARASOTA, FLORDIA:  Sharon Lee (Fletcher) Allen, 74 of McConnelsville, passed away Friday, November 5th, 2021 at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida with her husband and daughter by her side.  She was born on July 10, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio to William and Corinne Fletcher.  She attended Upper Arlington High School in Columbus and The Ohio State University.  Sharon worked in Columbus where she was a salesperson for Toledo Scale and an area manager for the Acosta Brokerage company.  She lived in McConnelsville, Ohio for many years.  She was a member and past President of the American Legion Auxiliary, and was a Certified Ombudsman for Ohio ESGR in support of the Ohio National Guard and Reserves.  Sharon enjoyed traveling, and taking care of her home and family.  She had long-time friends throughout Ohio and in Morgan county, and loved her community.  She will be remembered for her constant smile, cheerful attitude, and willingness to be a caring and loving friend instantly.  She is survived by her husband William Allen, mother Corinne Fletcher, daughter Amanda Warner, grandson Logan Harrelson of Cincinnati, brother Craig (Jana) Fletcher of Ostrander, Ohio, step-sons James (Year) Allen and John (Dolores) Allen, step-grandchildren Alex Allen, Lana Allen, Thomas Allen, and her beloved German Shepherd, Sasha.  She is preceded in death by her father, and her son, Lance Warner.  Services are being held April 23rd in McConnelsville, Ohio with Pastor Galen Finley officiating at the Church of the Gospel Ministry, 210 North Kennebec Avenue, and arrangements by Matheny funeral home with visitation beginning at Noon at the church, and services at 1pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sharon Allen Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o Morgan Educational Foundation, 800 Raider Drive, McConnelsville, Ohio 43756.
