Thelma Mae Creighton, of Stockport, passed away on Sat., Oct. 17, 2020 at the Newark Care and Rehab Center. She was born on May 26, 1939 in Stockport, Ohio to the late Levi and Junie Gheen Scott. She was a 1957 Graduate of Windsor High School where she was a Cheerleader and a member of all County Choir. She enjoyed playing the Piano, Organ and the Accordion. She attended the Oakland United Methodist Church, was a school parent volunteer and volunteered at the Mark Rest Center and love her garden, Flowers and her pets. She is survived by her son Patrick Scott Creighton of Stockport, a daughter, LaNita (Steve) Garnack of Newark, a brother, Ted Scott of Zanesville, 2 sisters, Pauline Moye of Kountze, Tx and Connie Wise of Zanesville, 2 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Patrick Creighton, daughter, Pamala Creighton, 2 sister, Beatrice Hook and Linda Scott, 2 brothers, Dwight and Kenneth Scott and a great great granddaughter, Hope Garnack. A public graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020 at 11:30 A.M. at the Stockport Cemetery. Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville will be handling the arrangements for the family.
