William “Bill” K. Kinney, 68, of McConnelsville, passed away on Monday, Oct, 5, 2020 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on April 4, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Elijah Kenney and Helen Moore Hambel. He retired from Adkins Lumber Co in Beverly. He loved woodworking, fishing, hunting and the outdoors. He was a decorated Boy Scout and a black belt of Alii-Kane Tae-Kwon-do. He is survived by his wife of 47 years (May 27, 1973) Janet Stevens Kinney of the home, a son, Jason (Suzan) Kinney of Nashport, a daughter, Jennifer (Ty) Shuster of Stockport, 4 sisters, Lynda (Roger) Dillie of McConnelsville, Patti Sands of Mt. Vernon, Teresa Winchek of Dayton and Pam Elam of Dayton, 3 grandchildren, Mideya (Tyler Treadway) Kinney, Brayden and Colten Shuster, many aunts, uncles nieces nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held on Sat., Oct. 10, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the Meigsville Cemetery.
