Rhett w. matheney

Licensed Funeral Director

Rhett is the son of Timothy and Susan Matheney. He is a 1986 graduate of Morgan High School, a 1991 graduate of the Ohio State University, and a 1995 graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.

Susan E. matheney

Licensed Funeral Director

In 1962, Susan married Timothy H. Matheney. She attended Heidelberg College and Ohio University. Tim and Susan bought the business in 1974. After teaching in the Morgan Local System for seven years, Susan served her apprenticeship and became a licensed funeral director in 1977.

Paul joined are team in 2023 and does almost all of our transportation work and removals.

Chantelle

 Funeral Assistant

Chantelle serves as a Funeral Assistant, offering compassionate, attentive support to families and helping ensure each service is carried out with care and dignity. A 2006 graduate of Morgan High School, she earned an Associate of Applied Science degree from Zane State College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Southern New Hampshire University. A lifelong resident of Morgan County, she lives in Chesterhill with her Bernedoodle, Birdie, and is proud to serve the community she calls home
